Q. What happens when I contact you?

A. Firstly, we come and visit you at home free of charge. We discuss with you some ideas and options based on your garden - what you use it for and what you like or don't like. After the consultation (if you would like us to) we come back to survey your garden or landscape to assess the possibilities and constraints. We are friendly and professional; working with you to make sure you get the most for your money.

Q. Does my garden need to be designed?

A. We always recommend it, as any number of concepts and revisions can be made. Without designs and only installation, it can become more expensive to add or change the elements of the garden. With a design you can achieve a realistic representation and feel for the landscape before it is built. We produce scaled construction drawings with exact measurements that specify to the landscaper what needs to be built and where.

Q. What skills and experience do you have?

A. Our designers have Foundation Degrees in the Science of Garden Design (FdSc), which provides perfectly adequate knowledge to deal with planting, the combinations of materials and all landscape operations. Unlike many garden designers, we have plenty of experience in hands-on landscape construction and our contractors have well over 25 years experience - so you're in safe hands.

Q. I would like my garden designed now - can it be
installed next year?

A. Of course! Just come back to us when you are ready and our contractors can prepare to install it. You may also be at an advantage, as you will have had plenty of time to think about exactly how you want it, or how you will use it.

Q. I have young children and a dog - can I still have the
garden I want?

A. We are trained to make the right decision and tackle any problem a landscape can provide. Your garden can be functional or purely for aesthetics, either way it can be made for the whole family to enjoy and we will advise you by making suggestions and showing you a range of materials that are suitable for your requirements.

Q. Where do the materials that are used come from?

A. We obtain our materials from regular and trusted manufacturers and distributors in the UK, unless specifically ordered. This ensures that they are of the highest standard of quality. We use local trades wherever possible to cut travel and carbon emissions.

Q. So, how much does it all cost?

A. It all depends on what is required. Every garden is different, so quotes are customised specifically to what needs to be done. We always quote you fairly and you are not obliged to go ahead with it until you are sure. You will be fully informed on all of the costs and conditions before any work is undertaken.
